don’t spend your SUMMER alonE. Groups open MAY 24!
SO WHAT ARE SMALL GROUPS?
Here at The Project, we firmly believe that we are made for community. However, finding people to do life with can be easier said than done. It may be daunting to join a small group or meet new people, but you never know what can happen in your life when you take a chance.
Our hope is to provide you with life-giving opportunities to meet other young adults while exploring and growing in your relationship with Jesus.
At the end of the day, you need people and people need you.
SUMMER SMALL GROUPS REGISTRATION IS NOW LIVE!
CATALOGUE IS LIVE! PERUSE AND PLAN WITH FRIENDS!
-
When it comes to small groups, less is more! We want you to get the most out of your group, so invest in one or two rather than signing up for too many. This also ensures that everyone gets a spot.
-
Some groups have a unique way to register, and others may not require you to sign up at all. Read through the descriptions thoroughly so you know what your next steps are.
-
Your leaders are putting in a great deal of time and effort into your group. It is imperative that you communicate with them so that they can plan accordingly. Is the group no longer a fit for you? Do you have to miss a meeting? No sweat, just let them know as soon as possible.
Please note that if you miss 2 meetings (bi-weekly groups) or 3 meetings (weekly groups) without communication, you will be removed from the group and your spot will be given to someone else.
-
Spots can be tricky to come by but don’t lose hope. Just join the waitlist and we’ll do our best to get you a spot.

We’re happy to help! Just contact us.

Faith & Flourish is a women centered Bible study on learning to become the woman God created you to be. We will be exploring stories of various women in scripture from those that are well-known such as Esther and Ruth, to those that are lesser-known yet still pivotal in God's plan. We will discover how the stories of these women can impact how we live our own lives today and learn what it can really mean to be a woman of God.

Work, eat, sleep, repeat. Is that all there is? This small group is for anyone tired of easy answers. We’re building an authentic community while studying Ecclesiastes—a book that doesn't shy away from the question: Is everything actually pointless, or is there a deeper design to our lives?

Leaders: Angel & Sarah
Time: Thursdays (weekly) 6:45-8:00pm
Location: Project Offsite Space- South Central (location given after registration)
This semester, we will be diving into the Book of Joshua; a rich, historical, and directional book in the Bible that connects the step out of the first era of leadership and into the reign of the new leaders in the Old Testament. Together, we will engage in meaningful discussions, conversations, and exploration of the context and connections that show us how Joshua invites us to seek and understand Jesus in every place of scripture. This group is a space to grow as a community each week, walking alongside one another in faith, and fun. Whether you are new to the Bible or have spent years studying it, there is room here for questions, discussion, and discovery no matter where you are starting from. We invite you as we journey together into Seeing Jesus Clearly.

Leaders: Abigail and Seth Pettie
Location: Central (location given after registration)
Time: Wednesdays (Weekly) 6:30-8:30 PM
Abigail and I recently got married this past year, and we have been craving a space to meet people on the same journey as us. We want this group to be a place for engaged/married couples in their early years of marriage to come together and have a community of people in the same stage of life as they are. A place to share stories around a dinner table, to ask questions we are all looking to find answers to, and to connect with people walking the same path. Food will be provided every group time, and nothing is expected on your first visit. Afterwards, we hope that you will share your culinary talents with us and supplement with your favourite appetizers. We will always try to have activities planned and create a fun and relaxing environment we can enjoy together. Abi and I are so excited to get to meet you and spend these next months, and hopefully years, building a real relationship. Can't wait to get started!

Scoops and Strolls is back for another summer of sunshine, fresh air, and sweet treats! Inspired by last year’s wildly popular original group, this co-ed outdoor adventure is all about making the most of those long summer evenings. We’ll spend our time strolling through some of the best walking trails around Edmonton—soaking in the views, enjoying great company, and maybe even discovering a few hidden gems along the way. And of course, no stroll is complete without a reward: we’ll wrap up each evening with ice cream and good conversation. We’ll meet biweekly on Friday evenings at 6 p.m., with a backup plan ready just in case the weather doesn’t cooperate. This group is a great opportunity to connect, unwind, and enjoy a laid-back summer together.

Leader: Sharu
Location: Online
Time: Thursday (Weekly) 7:00-8:30 PM
This small group is for Christians who want to be ready to engage Islam honestly, confidently, and with the love of Christ. We live in a time when Islam is growing rapidly across the West — through immigration, conversion, and active da'wa (Islamic outreach) in our schools, universities, prisons, and public squares.
Most Christians are not prepared for the questions Muslims ask, and many have never been taught the real differences between Christianity and Islam. This group exists to change that. Together we'll focus on three things.

Leader: Sky Thompson

Together, we’ll use Winning the War in Your Mind by Craig Groeschel as a guide for our biweekly sessions, exploring practical, faith-based strategies to challenge and overcome the thoughts and lies we face every day. This group is designed to be an intentional practice in a safe, supportive space—surrounded by others who understand, can relate, and are committed to creating meaningful, lasting change in their thought life, while supporting one another in this ongoing personal growth journey.
